Lurdes Bergadà started making her own garments in 1950 in Barcelona. She learned how to do it on her own, with only her own sense of style as a guide. Together with his son, Syngman Cucala combine beautiful silhouettes and draped layers to create functional, elevated clothing. Specialties include comfy yet chic drop-crotch pants, asymmetric chunky sweaters, cropped tees and tops, and sleek bubble skirts and dresses.

Since then, the company has gained recognition across the globe for its simple color schemes and palette and natural materials, which are combined to create a variety of unstructured contemporary pieces, including wide-leg pants and beautiful dresses.
